Supplementing global corporate identities; serving as symbols of freedom and self-determination; documenting scientific pursuits; and celebrating a sense of place — images of birds have played an ongoing role in my life of design. Drawing on great photography, imaginative illustration, archival imagery and reimagined iconography, birds serve again and again to remind us of our role in the world.
